MapStory, a new platform to crowdsource, peer review and layer open spatial-temporal data, is named a finalist for the 2013 SXSW LaunchEDU competition.
South By Southwest (SXSW), a leading annual gathering of thinkers, doers and creators held in Austin TX, named MapStory as a finalist for the 2013 LaunchEDU competition.
“We are excited to share the work we’ve done to-date on MapStory with the SXSW community, and articulate our vision for the future,” said MapStory Founder & CEO Dr. Christopher Tucker. “Everybody has a story to tell, and MapStory provides the common platform for us to share these stories so that we all can better understand our rich past, complex present, and uncertain future, and in doing so, improve mutual understanding around the world.”
